Heels On The Sidewalk: Alexander Mcqueen

I mentioned him in my last post. I guess that most of you have heard of him almost once. To me he was and will be the god of fashion conceived as art. Nowadays it is hard to find designers who only seek to express their thoughts, heir ideas, on paper in order to transfer them to reality later. The fashion world is a bubble with constant movement of money so the main concern of the designer creating garments that the buyer wants to purchase. McQueen proved to be the opposite of that. Mcqueen didn't design, he embodied his own imagination; and with their garments, he had the ability to make us enter into a fantasy world, a different world. His fashion shows were spectacles full of colours. Definitely with the death of alexander mcqueen a part of the world of fashion have been evaporated. Therefore I'd like to make a reminder of his best collections:

Le mencioné en mi último post. Supongo que la mayor parte de ustedes ha oido hablar de el al menos una vez. Para mi el fue y será el dios de la moda concebida como arte. Hoy en dia es dificil encontrar diseñadores que solo busquen expresar sus pensamientos, sus ideas en papel para transportarlas despues a la realidad. El mundo de la moda es una burbuja con un movimiento constante de dinero, por lo que el objetivo principal del diseñador es crear prendas que el comprador quiera adquirir. McQueen demostro ser lo contrario a todo esto. El no diseñaba, el plasmaba su propia imaginacion; y son sus prendas el tenía la habilidad de introducirnos en un mundo de fantasia, un mundo diferente. sus desfiles eran espectáculos llenos de colores. Definitivamente una parte del mundo de la moda se ha evaporado con la muerte de McQueen. Por ello me gustaria hacer un recordatorio de sus mejores colecciones:
